The Morning After...flash game

Journal Entry: Tue Feb 19, 2008, 12:25 PM
Well I've just finished my latest flash game entitled "The Morning After" and its an adventure game that starts when you wake up in some house with a banging hangover and whats worse is your locked in with a bunch of students, goths and a really smelly hippy ;-)

Complete tasks and minigames for em to gain access to the attic and ultimately the front door key so you can escape and stagger home!!

YOU CAN PLAY IT HERE!!!

New Year

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 22, 2008, 6:12 AM
Well I figured I better write something in here seeing as its a new year an all, Things are going well and I've been travelling around the UK a lot working a bit and squeezing in some mountain biking when it stops pissing it down, so thats all good ;-)

On another note my focus has changed from artist to flash (using SwishMAX) games developer somehow and I really enjoy it, as you can see from my gallery theres a few games starting to be added with many more on the way!!

I love being in charge from start to end and...designing the game, making the graphics, the music and even recording the stupid sound fx etc, coding is not my strong point but I am learning and gaining more experience with each project...

Anyway more games on the way soon and maybe some more 40k artwork (reading the Horus Heresy series is quite inspiring) ;-)

Anyway hope everyone had a great xmas and hope you all have a great 2008!!!!

Update

Journal Entry: Fri Jun 8, 2007, 12:54 AM
Well I keep forgetting about this journal and I tend to remember to update it every year lol...so here it is...

anyway, I'm back working freelance for various small companies and indie games projects doing mostly lowpoly 3d models/textures but also some webdesign etc.

The plan is to get a laptop very soon and do a lot of travelling/working initially around the UK/Wales/Scotland as theres loads of places I wanna go mountain biking and places I want to see for inspirational purposes so that should be fun ;)

Still running my little website but I get less and less time to work on personal stuff which is a shame but cant be helped, gotta pay them bills!!

ZBrush 3 was just released recently so I'm playing around with that and learning little tricks all the time along with having fun sculpting, hopefully it will change the way I work to a large extent as its very free-ing creatively once you get past the quirky-ness...if your interested check out my zbrush basics videos on youtube, my name is 3dgameresources on there ;)

anyway, back to work, hopefully I'll update a little more often (if I can remember too)

Cya,

Just a lil' update

Journal Entry: Mon Mar 27, 2006, 7:17 AM
Hey, Just wanted to say thanks for all the comments and views on my pics over the past few months, very much appreciated!! I hope to be contributing many more tutorials on various subjects and also new artworks over the next few months so watch out for those ;)

Also I've just started learning a program called ZBrush so there will be plenty of experiments with that while I'm learning the basics with a view to creating normal-mapped game characters!!

I usually do a lot of Freelance work but have recently been taken on fulltime by a company so that is kinda eating up all my time lately but I still hope to contribute more stuff in the future...

2006

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 10, 2006, 8:31 AM
Well Happy New Year to all you people out there in Deviant-Land, I hope you have a good one!!

I intend to, last year was pretty crappy so I'm determined to make sure this one isn't, gave up smoking for starters which has gotta be good ;-)

On the Art side of things the break over Xmas (and the copius amounts of lager) allowed me to relax a little and not even think about artwork. Now I seem full of ideas and inspiration which I reckon is a good thing...

Anyway, I'll be contributing a lot more and generally having a browse around checking out your creations as well.
